“Letters from Erich” — a New Feature!

In 1938, people didn’t have e-mail, blogs, or instant messaging. They had letters — snail mail to you — and they also had pen pals.

Shortly after Erich became an apprentice mechanic at the Zeppelin Company, he began corresponding with a pen pal in the United States. Erich’s pen pal saved all his letters, and thanks to him you can now read Erich’s own “blog”…
